ABOUT MAGDALENA WODZISZ
ABOUT MY STYLE
Magdalena Wodzisz is a Polish writer-director based in the West of Ireland. Her films inhabit the threshold between myth and reality, shaped by a distinct visual language and poetic sensibility.
She writes and directs short films, music videos and commercials - sensual, atmospheric stories in which nature is often not simply a landscape or background, but a character in itself.
Drawing from Irish folklore, mythology and existential themes, her work unfolds through intimate, psychologically charged narratives that explore the fragile relationships between people, nature and the inner self.
Her films have screened nationally and internationally, including at Cork International Film Festival, Fastnet Film Festival and ÉCU – The European Independent Film Festival, among others.
